OPERATOR TRANING – HEAVY EQUIPMENT & POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS

Operator Training – Heavy Equipment & Machinery

WHAT WE DO: Heavy machinery and equipment are a critical part of operations. Machine-Operator interaction is key to maintaining safe, incident-free operations. The success of operations will depend on a good electromechanical maintenance plan, in addition to a training plan for operators for these critical machinery and equipment. Operator Training – Powered Industrial Truck

WHAT WE DO: Powered Industrial Truck Training applicable general and construction industry

    Powered industrial trucks, all operator training and evaluation shall be conducted by people who have the knowledge, training, and experience to train powered industrial truck operators and evaluate their competence.
  • 1926.20(b)(4). The employer shall permit only those employees qualified by training or experience to operate equipment or machinery
  • 1926.602(d). Employees engaged in construction who use equipment covered by 1926 Subpart O and the Powered Industrial Truck Standard (1910.178)

CONFINE SPACE / TRAFFIC SUPERVISOR

Confine Space (Occupational Health & Safety)

The employer must provide training to each employee whose work is regulated by this standard, at no cost to the employee, and ensure that the employee possesses the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this standard [1926.1207(a)]. The employer shall provide training so that all employees whose work is regulated by this section acquire the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this section [1910.146(g)(1)]. Maintenance and Traffic Control Supervisor

A Maintenance and Traffic Control Supervisor, as a Competent Person, supervises operations related to road and highway construction projects. His responsibilities include implementing maintenance and traffic control devices to divert pedestrians and drivers, monitoring road repairs, and supervising crews as they install equipment. This position is critical in the effectiveness of maintaining and controlling the safety of the work area. We have the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities to transfer these competencies to supervisors in road and highway construction zones.

PREVENTION AND PROTECTION OF FALLS

Fall Protection Training

    The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards [1926.503(a)(1)].
      Before any employee is exposed to a fall hazard, the employer must provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems or who is required to be trained as specified [1910.30(a)(1)]

FIRST AID / CPR / AED

The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns cuts scrapes sudden illnesses head neck back injuries heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid / CPR / AED valid for two years.

ADULT CPR/AED

The Adult CPR / AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult CPR / AED valid for two years.

EXCAVATION SAFETY / RESPIRATORY PROTECTION

Excavation and Trenching

Excavation and trenching are some of the most dangerous activities in construction. Open excavations in the earth's surface can collapse unexpectedly, causing injury or death to workers if the proper protective systems required in 1926.652 are not place.
